Georgia General Contractor Licenses
The Georgia Licensing Board for General Contractors regulates all construction related licenses. There are 3 classifications that can be obtained in any field: limited, intermediate, and unlimited.
Pre-approval is required to take the exam. Exams are administered by PSI. The NASCLA is accepted for the building classification.
There is a 30 day hold on all applications.
Reciprocity is available to license holders in South Carolina, Tennessee and North Carolina.

- Qualifying Party must prove experience, and have experience certified through references.
- Exams are now administered through the proctor PSI.
- Continuous testing is now available effective 10/17/2022.
